Humble Indie Bundle #3 Sells Over 370,000 Units

The Humble Indie Bundle #3 just ended and it’s been the most successful one yet.

I’m among those who missed out on Indie Bundle #2. Thankfully, I didn’t miss out on Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos, or Revenge of the Titans this time around.

With 12 new games to play, I shouldn’t have to buy any more games until the next Humble Bundle.

Without further ado, here’s a breakdown of the stats:

Total payments: $2,167,591.10

Number of bundles sold: 372,346

Average purchase price: $5.82

Average Windows user paid: $4.89

Average Mac user paid: $7.72

Average Linux user paid: $12.04

Linux users were the most generous, paying almost triple what Windows users paid. Linux and Mac users combined only made up about 1/3rd of total payments.

Given the success of this bundle, I think it’s safe to assume that we’ll be seeing another collection of games later this year.

Thanks again, Humble Bundle, for another great deal for a great cause.
