Voxatron is a “voxel-based, old-school-gone-new-platform shooter” developed by Lexaloffle, which is currently in alpha. The game features twenty areas to play through which contain blocky baddies, a destructible environment and powerups.
You can pay what you want now but Voxatron will be $15 when it releases. So why should you buy it now? Well, you’ll have instant access to Voxatron and receive any updates that may be released in the future.
Lexaloffle appears to be using the same strategy that Notch used to fund the development of Minecraft. An interesting move. Hopefully it’ll work just as well.
Nearly 50,000 units have been sold so far with many more to come. As always, you can decide how your money is distributed between Humble Bundle, the developers, and charity.
So what are you waiting for? “Git you one.”
Update: This latest Humble Bundle has added two new games. If you choose to pay more than the average price (currently $4.11), you will get Blocks That Matter and The Binding of Isaac in addition to Voxatron.
