According to Kotaku, a Best Buy worker e-mailed this image from their employee news section. The e-mail said that Ubisoft will unveil Assassin’s Creed III on March 5. This picture rings true with earlier rumors about the game’s setting.
This is what I’d like to call a gateway rumor. Things are being pieced together, and we’re going to find out real soon what Assassin’s Creed III is all about. From what I can tell, everyone is clamoring for a U.S. setting, which, of course, will hit home.
I mean, look at it. The good ol’ red, white and blue, back in the good ol’ days when there were only 13 dang gum states! Or was it colonies at this point? You’ve even got your good ol’ military jacket. He could be some Native American feller.
I don’t really know the prominent Native Americans at the time, so I’m going to default to Apache. Which would be boss, because they were on the deadliest warrior. If we know Assassin’s Creed games, we know that they’re full of deadly.
So what do you think? Is this the direction Assassin’s Creed should be taking?
