Here are some premium premature screenshots to get you amped up for Assassin’s Creed III.
First, we’ve got a close-up of Connor’s hatchet, which he’ll use to chop at enemies. I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that Connor’s hatchet will be this game’s equivalent of the sword in past Assassin’s Creed titles.
Heck, it may even be the game’s equivalent of the hidden blade. It sure as hell looks too fancy to be a regular hatchet. I’m thinking that someone gave it to Connor and it may likely become his signature weapon.
Then, we see Connor hiding in trees and battling red coats in different American settings. Oh and there’s that random picture with the canoe. Perhaps we’ll see some awesome canoe chases like the stagecoach stuff we saw in earlier titles.
That would be brutal.
Don’t take my speculation too seriously. Unless I’m right. In that case, feel free to shower praise.
Assassin’s Creed III is expected to release on October 30, 2012 for the PS3 and 360. PC and Wii U releases are expected to follow if not coincide with the other platforms.

I have great expectations for this game. I feel like it’s going to stomp the last two.
How are you gonna try to say something looks silly if you’ve never even played it? Shut your mouth and pick up a dang controller.
I’m still probably going to play it one day. I just think it looks silly. I can say something looks silly without playing it. That doesn’t mean it IS silly. Like I said, I’ll still probably play it.
