Instead of having to click on each screenshot and then move on over to the videos section, users will now have all of the content they create in one convenient place, their profile.
All of the content you upload to Steam will be separated into tabs on your profile based on the type of content (screenshots, videos, workshop, and collections). Your screenshots will be displayed, as Valve puts it, “like a work of art”. There will be several viewing options for your image wall, so you can decide how they will be arranged.
In addition, users will also be able to favorite the content they peruse to find later and share with friends. You can favorite an interesting Civilization V mod you found and have your friend install it later.
This is probably the area of the Community section that I use the least but I’m glad that it’s getting an overhaul for the times I will use it. This may inspire me to put more screenshots up.
What will Day 4 hold? Perhaps it’ll be a slicker way to look at and manage your friends. I’m not a fan of the checkboxes.
