Ubisoft officially announced its latest game from the Call of Juarez franchise, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, today. Along with the announcement comes an official trailer and some initial screenshots.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is returning to its old West theme, and is being developed by Techland, using the company’s own engine. Ubisoft claims that the game is a “real homage to the Wild West tales,” and will explore the truth being some of the greatest legends. Some of the game mechanics include a skill tree and a bullet-time effect.
You can expect to see Call of Juarez: Gunslinger release in early 2013 for Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, and PC. In the meantime, enjoy the announcement trailer (a live action trailer depicting a tense saloon scene) and screenshots below:
