For all of you who are hungry for some new heists, the upcoming Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time release date has been announced. You’ll be able to pick it up on February 5, 2013 (North America) and/or in the merry month of March (Europe) for both your PS3 and PS Vita. And there’s even better news! Buy it for the PS3 and you’ll be able to download it for your Vita from the PSN for free. Which means you’ll get to play Sly on the big screen and the small screen, thanks to the Cross-Buy/Cross-Play system.
There’s also good news for people who don’t like leaving their house or interacting with other human beings: Sony’s decided to make the game available via their PSN service on the release day too. And if you pre-order the game you might also be able to pick up some fancy skins for Sly and the gang.
I’ve never really given Sly Cooper a chance, so this might just be the game that converts me. I’m also really glad that Sony have put on their clever marketing caps and decided to do the whole Cross-Buy/Cross-Play deal with this release. Finally showing that Vita some love.
They better show the Vita some love. That thing was expensive.
Now I can get a PS3 and a Vita for my collection!
