I always get stupidly excited when I see an advert for a video game on TV. I don’t know why; maybe I’m just not used to it yet, but I saw this bad boy about an hour ago… and I’m now SO EXCITED!
The launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed III has hit the UK television screens, and it’s a minute and a half of pure awesomeness. Showing off the beautiful Native American landscape and demonstrating the abilities of our new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton (a.k.a. Connor), it’s certainly an impressive trailer.
Opening with our hero during his youth as he witnesses the destruction of his home, the trailer switches the action to Connor all grown up, chasing down his prey (both animal and human). As it progresses, we get to see how exciting a backdrop the American Revolution is turning out to be. Plus, near the end, there’s even a shot of Connor preparing to fight a black bear. Did I mention it looks awesome?
Set for release on October 31 in the UK (and October 30 in the US), there’s only a few days left of waiting.
