The special editions of BioShock Infinite have officially been revealed. One is called Premium Edition, and the other is the Ultimate Songbird Edition. There are a limited number of these that will be made, so don’t hesitate if it’s something you want.
The Premium Edition is priced at $80, and includes the following:
- A 3-inch baby version keychain of the sold-out Murder of Crows vigor bottle replica.
- A 5 x 7-inch lithograph by Jorge Lacera.
- A 25 millimeter, resin-cast Handyman miniature from the upcoming BioShock Infinite board game by Plaid Hat Games, makers of Summoner Wars.
- A mini art book, full of BioShock Infinite concept art and commentary, with a hand-distressed cover.
- Various digital goodies: exclusive in-game gear, a digital soundtrack, and platform specific downloadable content (Avatar costumes for Xbox 360, and Themes for PC and PlayStation 3).
The Ultimate Songbird Edition, priced at $150, contains all of that and more:
- Songbird statue (9.75”), designed by Robb Waters
- Art of Columbia art book (64 pages)
- Handyman figure (25mm)
- Lithograph, “a real-life piece of propaganda” from Columbia
- Murder of Crows keychain (3”)
- 3 gear power-ups: Bull Rush (melee strikes from a sprint might knock enemies down), Extra! Extra! (audio logs grant in-game currency), and Betrayed (killing possessed enemies causes an explosion).
Both collector’s editions will be available for pre-order in Australia and Europe as of October 22, 2012. No word on a North American date, but it’ll probably be around that time frame, so keep checking.
