Dead Island publisher Deep Silver have announced the release date for their sequel, Dead Island: Riptide. It will be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on April 23rd 2013.
Although being promoted as a “spin-off”, Riptide will be picking up from exactly where the original game left off. Take a look at the trailer here, which was released last month on the official Dead Island Facebook page.
Deep Silver also stated that a special edition version will be available, which will include extra goodies including unique box art, alternate weapons and character skins and a digital strategy map. If you don’t fancy forking out too much, there is also a pre-order edition available, which features the weapons pack but none of the other extras.
