BonusXP, made up of ex-Ensemble Studios members, have announced their debut title will be hitting the App Store on November 1st. Monster Crew is being released as a free to play game so anyone with an iOS device can pick it up.
The game focuses on Frankie, a child-turned Frankenstein’s monster, who smashes and jumps his way through various endless platforming levels. Gameplay is made up of the ever-popular “endless runner” mechanic mixed in with platforming and stomping on stuff. There’s also in-game cards which players can collect to improve their chances, and help to add a bit of depth and strategy to the game.
It’s a shame that the game is just missing out on the Halloween date, but I’m sure it will get plenty of attention regardless. You can check out Monster Crew’s adorable trailer right here.
