The public beta will be open to both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita owners, and will allow players to test characters such as Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, PaRappa, and Fat Princess on two different stages. Game modes that will be supported will include four player battles and 2 vs 2, allowing players to team up to beat another pair.
Here are the launch dates:
- October 16th 2012: Everyone can download the All-Stars beta on PlayStation Vita
- October 16th 2012: PlayStation Plus members can download the beta on PS3
- October 23rd 2012: Other players can download the All-Stars beta on PS3
UK players that are waiting to take part in the beta will be able to do so a day later than those across the pond, so October 17th 2012 for PlayStation Vita and Plus members, and then October 24th 2012 for everyone else. The beta will run until October 30th 2012, so make sure to get involved and let us know what you think!
I personally can’t wait, look out for the guy doing awesome.

I already played a demo at the local GameStop… Wasn’t too impressed sadly. I spent most of the matches I played confused about what was going on. And despite winning, nothing I did felt very exciting to me…
Does this mean I can play online with friends? I’d like to do that though it may lag a bit.
