To celebrate the ten year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Rockstar have announced that the title is set to come to mobile devices this fall.
Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games, stated, “It was a defining moment in the series and we’re delighted to be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with a stunning, updated version for phones and tablets.”
It’s not surprising really, considering the successful conversion of GTA III to mobile devices. Apparently to celebrate the ten-year anniversary, Rockstar will also be releasing some never-before-seen artwork and even a brand new trailer, mashing together some of the game’s best moments. Also, for a limited time gamers will be able to treat themselves to some goodies through the Rockstar Warehouse.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is coming soon to iOS and Android platforms, a release date is yet to be confirmed.
