Capcom has decided to allow the pre-order Mercenaries maps for Resident Evil 6 to be available to everyone now. In light of the recent hullabaloo surrounding the on-disc DLC that modders found, it’s unclear if this wide release is more appeasement for disgruntled fans or if it was always part of the plan.
The three maps are as follows: High Seas Fortress, Rail Yard, and Catacombs. The High Seas Fortress map is brighter and has more vertical elements to it, while the Catacombs map has lots of traps to it. All three maps are available now on PS3 and Xbox 360 for $0.99 and 80 MSP apiece, respectively.
