Slender: The Arrival is a sequel to the popular Slender Man horror game sensation, Slender: The Eight Pages. (If you have no idea what I’m talking about, just look it up on YouTube; there are dozens of Let’s Plays.)
Slender: The Arrival seeks to improve in every way: there will be more levels, better visuals, and “an engaging storyline.” The game will be coming out early 2013 for PC (and later, Mac) and is being developed by Parsec Productions and Blue Isle Studios. Although the original Slender game was free, this one will not be, though the developers have assured potential buyers that the game will cost less than $20.
You can check out the first screenshots that have been released below. Regarding the images, the developers say:
“The screenshots we show are taken directly from the game with the highest graphics settings turned on; they are not edited in any way. What you see in the screenshots is what you see in the game. With that said, be aware that a game in development is often subject to changes. This means that something shown in one screenshot may have been cut or changed in a future version of the game.”
The visuals have definitely improved I think. What do you think? You can check out the official site here.
